Resumo

Este artigo realizou um estudo com o objetivo de trazer reflexões sobre um planejamento estrategicamente idealizado. Daí surgiu a seguinte questão de pesquisa: como tornar o canto coral atrativo e dinâmico na educação básica? A fim de obter respostas, as leituras focaram no canto coral, tendo o corpo como instrumento, com a pesquisa dos autores Meurer e Figueiredo (2018) e, também, a interpretação de repertório da cultura popular, sob o trabalho de Penna e Barros (2022) que investigaram o Funk. Também, foram incluídas outras leituras, tal como a BNCC e, especificamente, Ramalhete e Moreira (2021) que estudaram o Rap, abordagem central deste artigo. A metodologia qualitativa considerou as informações coletadas envolto do Coral da EEEM Arnulpho Mattos com a análise de dados a partir do cruzamento com o referencial teórico. Os resultados confirmaram a hipótese, em concordância ao texto revisado, de Araujo (2014), de que não há uma receita pronta, aqui sugerido um repertório temático, sob as performances adequadas ao perfil de determinado grupo musical. Há relevância na reflexão de propostas, tendo em vista o momento oportuno de mudanças educacionais, reforçadas com o advento da BNCC. Porquanto, importa repensar as práticas corais que sugerem inovações, sob os experimentos e as adequações de trabalhos que possam estar disponíveis, em especial, voltados para um público específico, isto é, da educação básica.

Choral project in schools: a qualitative study of choral practice in basic education in the State of Espírito Santo

This article conducted a study with the aim of bringing reflections on a strategically idealized planning. Hence the following research question arose: how to make choral singing attractive and dynamic in basic education? In order to obtain answers, the readings focused on choral singing, with the body as an instrument, with the research of the authors Meurer and Figueiredo (2018) and also the interpretation of popular culture repertoire, under the work of Penna and Barros (2022) who investigated Funk. Other readings were also included, such as the BNCC and, specifically, Ramalhete and Moreira (2021) who studied Rap, the central approach of this article. The qualitative methodology considered the information collected around the EEEM Arnulpho Mattos Choir with data analysis from the intersection with the theoretical framework. The results confirmed the hypothesis, in agreement with the revised text, by Araujo (2014), that there is no ready recipe, here suggested a thematic repertoire, under the performances appropriate to the profile of a given musical group. There is relevance in the reflection of proposals, in view of the opportune moment of educational changes, reinforced with the advent of the BNCC. Therefore, it is important to rethink choral practices that suggest innovations, under the experiments and adaptations of works that may be available, especially aimed at a specific audience, that is, basic education.
