Resumo

O presente artigo discorre sobre o percurso da prática violonística no Ceará em diversos contextos. Buscou-se compreender a relação dessas práticas com a inserção do ensino de violão no currículo das principais instituições e Cursos de Música do Estado. A pesquisa junto a fontes documentais, e a interpretação dos dados mediante à praxiologia de Pierre Bourdieu constituem-se como principais referenciais teórico-metodológicos. Concluiu-se que os agentes do campo e as suas estratégias (conscientes ou não), exerceram importante papel na chegada do ensino de violão nas instituições de Ensino Superior cearenses.

The route of the guitaristic practice in Ceará and its relations to the arrival of teaching guitar in institutions of Higher Education in the state

The present paper talks about the route of the guitaristic practice inside Ceará in various contexts. We attempted to understand the relationship between these practices and the insertion of guitar teaching into the curriculum of the main institutions and Music Courses in the state. A survey of documentary sources and the interpretation of the information through Pierre Bourdieu praxeology are the main theoretical and methodological references. We concluded that 'field agents' (according to Pierre Bourdieu) and their strategies (conscious or not) have exerted important role to the arrival of teaching in IES of Ceará.
