Resumo

No intuito de contribuir com os estudos voltados às memórias de formação em música, o presente artigo, decorrente de pesquisa realizada no ano de 2012, tem como objetivo compreender as memórias de iniciação musical da professora de música Monica Pinz Alves, de forma a conhecer as lembranças ligadas a personagens, acontecimentos e lugares (Pollak, 1992). Além disso, busca refletir sobre como e o que esta professora rememora, no que tange ao seu processo de iniciação musical até a entrada na profissão. Os referenciais teórico-metodológicos adotados baseiam-se nos estudos (auto)biográficos desenvolvidos junto a professores (Abrahão, 2010; Bueno, 2002; Nóvoa, 1995) e na história oral (Meihy, 2005), trazendo discussões sobre memória (Pollak, 1992) e narrativa. Neste artigo, as memórias da professora Monica são trazidas com ênfase nos contextos e experiências que a produziram, em especial a família e a igreja, as aulas de música e as práticas iniciais na carreira docente.

In order to contribute to the research about memories of formation in music, this paper, which is the result of an investigation undertaken in 2012, seeks to understand the musical initiation memories of the music teacher Monica Pinz Alves, so as to get to know the memories attached to characters, events and places (Pollak, 1992). In addition, it seeks to reflect on how and what this teacher rememorates, regarding the process of her musical initiation up to the beginning of her profession. The theoretical and methodological frameworks are based on (auto) biographical studies developed with teachers (Abrahão, 2010; Bueno, 2002; Nóvoa, 1995) and on oral history (Meihy, 2005), bringing discussions about memory (Pollak, 1992) and narrative. In this paper, the memories of Monica are revealed with emphasis on the contexts and experiences that produced it, particularly the family and the church, the music classes and the initial practices in the teaching career.
