Resumo

Youth(s) and research: Verification of pedagogical practices in music teaching at school

At each time youths are characteristic behaviors according to a context such as the school space. About this space, authors of the area point to the need to know the school culture, especially actions of managers, teachers, students and musical pedagogical proposals (CUNHA, 2015; QUEIROZ, 2013; SANTOS, 2017). Thus, the research “Music at School: investigating musical pedagogical practices”, which has as context the school and the problematization of how music teaching occurs, is related to the theme of the event because it contemplates the articulation between Youth, Musical Education and Contemporaneity, important issues such as pedagogical practices and their reaction / interaction with students. With the objective of mapping and analyzing musical pedagogical practices carried out in the public network of Feira de Santana, the research has as methodology a qualitative and quantitative approach, through the case study of practices adopted in Music Pibid by UEFS. Because it is linked to a Bachelor Degree, it adds research by scholarship students that broaden the objects investigated in practices such as the approach to music creation and Afro-Brazilian music content, besides presenting forms of socialization with the local community through the organization of a website. The results already achieved in addition to favoring the visibility and approach of some pedagogical situations in the course, by influencing its curriculum design, also enables the consolidation of music teaching in school. From the expected results it is intended to potentiate forms of socialization of the research, besides proposing and contributing to the reflection on approaches of Afro-Brazilian content, the creative musical making and the musical creation focused on the school.
