Resumo

O presente trabalho em como objeto de pesquisa a disciplina de violão do curso de licenciatura em música a distância da UFRGS, ofertado entre os anos de 2008 e 2012. O objetivo da pesquisa é identificar se a utilização de recursos tecnológicos digitais influenciou de maneira relevante as características da interdisciplina Seminário Integrador – Violão em algum momento da sua oferta no referido curso. O objeto é analisado à luz da Teoria Ator-Rede (LATOUR, 2012; VENTURINI, 2010; FENWICK; EDWARDS, 2010), relacionando-a ao contexto da cibercultura (LEMOS, 2013a; 2013b; BELL, 2001; LÉVY, 1999; 2002) e das tecnologias aplicadas ao ensino de música. A concepção metodológica do trabalho é a Cartografia de Controvérsia (LATOUR, 2012; VENTURINI, 2010), metodologia sugerida aos trabalhos quando se trabalha com a Teoria Ator-Rede. A primeira etapa da pesquisa envolveu utilização de técnicas de análise de conteúdo (BARDIN, 2011; BAUER, 2007) aplicadas às Unidades de Estudos, estrutura de material didático adotada no curso estudado, com o objetivo de identificar características e mudanças sofridas por esta interdisciplina ao longo do curso. Na segunda etapa, a partir dos resultados da primeira, foram feitas entrevistas com os sujeitos envolvidos com a produção destes materiais, procurando identificar os elementos que influenciaram nas referidas características e mudanças. Ao final do trabalho são identificados os principais elementos responsáveis pelas características e mudanças identificadas e, na conclusão do trabalho, são destacados dentro destes elementos, quais deles se relacionam diretamente com o contexto das tecnologias e da internet. Os resultados desta pesquisa indicam que muitas das características desta interdisciplina foram influenciadas por elementos tecnológicos, mas estas giram em torno dos formatos de disponibilização dos materiais, organização e distribuição dos conteúdos. Não foram verificadas mudanças significativas no que diz respeito à maneira de ensinar violão, estratégias de ensino e conteúdos a serem abordados, influenciados pelos recursos tecnológicos.

The present work focuses on the guitar course taught within the distance education music undergraduate program of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, offered from 2008 to 2012. This research aims to identify whether the use of digital technology resources influenced, in a significant way, the characteristics of the interdiscipline Seminário Integrador – Violão (Integrator Seminar: Guitar) at some point during the aforementioned course. The object of research is analyzed within a perspective of Actor-Network Theory (LATOUR, 2012; VENTURINI, 2010; FENWICK; EDWARDS, 2010), relating it to the context of cyberculture (LEMOS, 2013a; 2013b; BELL, 2001; LÉVY, 1999; 2002) and the technologies applied to music instruction. The methodological framing of the work is the Cartography of Controversies (LATOUR, 2012; VENTURINI, 2010), suggested for research to which Actor-Network Theory is applied. The first stage of the research involved utilizing techniques of content analysis (BARDIN, 2011; BAUER, 2007) applied to the Units of Study, the structure of the pedagogical material adopted in the course, with the aim of identifying characteristics and changes to this interdiscipline over the period during which it was offered. Using the results of the first stage, the second stage of research focused on conducting interviews with those involved in the production of these materials, seeking to identify the elements that influenced the aforementioned characteristics and changes. The work then finalizes with a focus on the elements chiefly responsible for the characteristics and changes that were identified, and concludes by highlighting which of these elements are related directly to the context of the technologies and the Internet. The results of this research indicate that many of the characteristics of this interdiscipline were influenced by technological elements, but that they revolve around the available formats of the materials, the organization, and the distribution of the content. No significant changes were noted in technological resources related to the way in which guitar is taught, the strategies of instruction, and the content included in the course.
