The study methods in the formation of violinists: a case study in Teresina (PI)

Observing the relevance of the individual study for the musical development of the stringed instrumentalist, we sought to investigate the contributions of the study methods for the formation of violinists in order to know which methods these violinists use and how they apply in their studies. Therefore, it is necessary to observe what the academic works mention about this theme, seeking to understand the musical trajectory of violinists and how they organize their studies and what influences the methods had on this routine organization. A qualitative research of case study is carried out through semi-structured interviews with three instrumentalists working in the city of Teresina. Data analysis was performed by categorizing the obtained results. Therefore, it appears that the use of study methods contributes to the individual development of the violinist, facilitating the organization of his/her study routine.
