Resumo

O texto aborda as dimensões rítmica e melódica no exercício do solfejo, examinando relações não consecutivas do discurso. Busca avaliar relações hierárquicas e estabelecer pontos de apoio entre prolongamentos musicais. J. Lester, F. Salzer, A. Forte e S. E. Gilbert fundamentam o texto. Conclui apresentando a duração como fator crucial na definição da métrica e direção, opondo-se ao tratamento que privilegia o acento no nível da performance (dinâmica). Do ponto de vista melódico, conclui revelando o contraponto fundamental como condutor do movimento.

Elements of Direction in the Practice of Rhythmic and Melodic Solfeges: a Pedagogical Approach

The text examines aspects of rhythmic and melodic dimensions in the practice of solfege to bring up non-consecutive relations of the discourse. It aims at evaluating hierarchical relations and establishing supporting frames for musical prolongations. J. Lester, F. Salzer, A. Forte, and S. E. Gilbert give support to the text. It concludes by presenting the durational aspect as a crucial factor in the definition of meter and direction, as opposed to that of the performance accent (dynamic). From the melodic point of view, it concludes revealing strict counterpoint as a fundamental aspect to guide the movement.
