Resumo

Neste trabalho, propõe-se uma reflexão acerca da metodologia de ensino aplicada no âmbito da Banda Filarmônica 24 de Outubro. O trabalho teve como base a literatura científica relacionada às temáticas de ensino de instrumento e bandas filarmônicas, bem como informações coletadas a partir de entrevistas com o maestro Humberto Carlos Dantas, responsável por conduzir os trabalhos na banda filarmônica estudada. A partir da pesquisa foi possível entender as principais características do ensino na Banda Filarmônica 24 de Outubro da cidade de Cruzeta-RN.

Music education through the Philharmonic Band: Methodological processes used for the teaching of music in the Cruzet Philharmonic Band-RN

In this work, it is proposed a reflection on the teaching methodology applied in the category of the Banda Filarmônica 24 de Outubro. The work was based on a scientific literature related to the subjects of instrument teaching and philharmonic bands, as well as information collected from interviewed with the conductor Humberto Carlos Dantas, responsible for conducting the work in the band studied. From the research it was possible to understand the main characteristics of the teaching in the Banda Filarmônica 24 de Outubro of the city of Cruzeta-RN.
