Cataloging and software development for teaching music theory

Digital learning materials are important tools in teaching-learning processes. They are useful from classroom applications, in regular and specialized teaching classes, to individual learning. However, there are no surveys and analyzes of such materials developed for teaching music theory in Brazil, which makes it difficult for teachers and students to search for their uses. Thus, the present work aims to present partial results of a survey on digital learning materials for teaching music theory, from which a catalog will be created with analyzes and indications of use for different contexts and also develop software and games that enable the learning of musical intervals and scales, with interactive and accessible approaches to various audiences, always indicating the sound result of the phenomena. The research has as methodological procedures: search for the following keywords "jogos musicais", "games musicais", "jogos teoria musical", "games teoria musical", "game music theory", "music theory online", using three different search engines: google, qwant and duckduckgo; selection of sites, software and games with content focused on music theory; classification of teaching materials by language, content, usability, prior knowledge required, platforms and origin. Based on these results, the development of a methodology for teaching intervals and scales through interactive software, which was called Régua Deslizante. This is an interval pattern that indicates musical ranges (Régua Intervalar Deslizante - RID) or a set of interval patterns that make up certain scales (Régua Escalar Deslizante - RED). The methodology is characterized by the possibility for the user to discover the desired range or scale and always obtain the sound result of their choices.
