Batucan(do) na escola: processo de musicalização (étnico-racial e educação ambiental) através das práticas percussivas

Resumo

This study investigates about percussive experiences of a group called ‘Batucan’ – composed by young students from a public school: Filomena Martins dos Santos, in Cruz city, Ceara. The interest in this research comes from the question of how this group forms its members, using in addition its collective rhythmic practices, collaborative making of your instruments, created in sound exploration workshops with recyclable materials at the school. In spite of it, the rhythms worked are form Afro-Brazilian repertoire, which leads to the approach of themes involving ethnic-racial education. Therefore, in this interdisciplinary perspective: Musical, Ecological and Ethnic-Racial this project was elaborate and developed. Thus, the objective was to analyze the formative process of group members through percussive practices in a context of musicalization in school, from 2016 to 2018. The methodology chosen for the deployment of this research was qualitative approach and its methodological path was action research. Data collection instruments include: semistructured interviews and questionnaires, as well as comments and notes in logbooks about essays, presentations, meetings, empowerment and outdoor classes in which students in the group have participated through all this time. Results obtained by the analysis of the methods demonstrate formative learning and musical skills from this interdisciplinary percussive activities in the school and therefore it’s a creative and alternative way to development of musical proposals, which that provide students with new possibilities for artistic protagonism and sociocultural interaction.
