Resumo

Este artigo abordará a interação entre os mestres de banda da marinha brasileira, com suas práticas, e a cooperação acadêmica, por meio da aplicação da técnica gestual matriz DJunker, abordando a metodologia da Pesquisa-Ação. Inicialmente, o estudo fará a exposição contextual da Banda da Marinha com algumas referências à atual forma de trabalho desenvolvida. Em seguida, tratará dos aspectos relacionados ao desenvolvimento da performance dos regentes com a aplicação da nova técnica gestual sob as perspectivas da Matriz DJunker. Em sua metodologia, esta investigação demonstrará o trabalho realizado com três regentes práticos dos grupos de banda da Marinha em Brasília e avaliará seus resultados através da aplicação de entrevista, como instrumento da pesquisa, tendo como propósito averiguar se houve, na prática dos regentes, o desenvolvimento da segurança gestual, da expressividade gestual e da qualidade sonora de seus grupos. Este estudo finalizará pontuando se, e quais intentos foram alcançados, em prol da transição técnica e sonora, por intermédio dos trabalhos desenvolvidos com as Overtures do repertório sinfônico.

The DJunker Matrix as gestual technique applied to the performance and sound quality of the transition of the Militar Music Band

This article will address the interaction between Brazilian navy band conductors, their practices and academic cooperation through the application of the DJunker matrix's gesture technique, addressing the methodologies of Action Research. Initially, the study will make the contextual exposition of the Navy Band with some references to the current form of work developed. Then, it will deal with the aspects related to the development of the conductors' performance with the application of the new gesture technique from the DJunker Matrix perspectives. In its methodology, this investigation will demonstrate the work done with three practical conductors of the Navy band groups in Brasilia and will evaluate their results through the application of an interview as a research instrument, aiming to verify if there was, in the practice of the conductors, the development gestural movement, gestural expressiveness and sound quality of their groups. This study will end outlining if and what was achieved, in favor of the technical and sound transition, through the works developed with the Overtures of the symphonic repertoire.
