Resumo

Belém é paisagem de múltiplas cenas musicais. Destaca-se a do tecnobrega, modalidade de música eletrônica relacionada ao modo de vida das classes populares da periferia urbana. Investigar a produção musical do tecnobrega nesta cidade, a partir da revisão bibliográfica, de entrevistas com os agentes sociais que perfazem os contextos dessas manifestações, relacionando-os a análise musical é o nosso objetivo. O olhar investigativo contempla os elementos musicais em um contexto sócio histórico, não significando, entretanto, em um desprezo pelos aspectos estruturais da música (Blacking).

Tecnobrega: music creation in the periphery belenense

Belem’s landscape of multiple musical scenes. We highlight the tecnobrega, electronic music related to the lifestyle of the working classes of the urban periphery. Investigate the musical production tecnobrega this city, from the literature review, interviews with agents that make up the social contexts of these manifestations, relating them to musical analysis is our goal. The investigative gaze contemplates the musical elements in a historical and social context, no meaning, however, in a contempt for structural aspects of music (Blacking).
