Resumo

Este artigo aborda o processo de estudo das peças Density 21.5 de E. Varèse e Joueurs de Flûte de A. Roussel. A escolha das peças procurou estilos diversos, pois as diferenças encontradas em cada estilo influenciam as ferramentas utilizadas ao longo do estudo, o que possibilita maior riqueza de ferramentas técnicas a serem utilizadas. Observa-se esse processo pela ótica da pesquisa artística. Logo, a ênfase recai sobre a descrição das diferentes etapas vivenciadas pelo performer ao longo do estudo das peças elencadas pela investigação. Este artigo está dividido em três partes: a primeira seção trata da descrição do estudo da peça de Varèse, a segunda parte do estudo da obra de Roussel e, por fim, a avaliação deste processo pelo artista e as conclusões da pesquisa.

This article deals with the process of studying the pieces Density 21.5 by E. Varèse and Joueurs de Flûte by A. Roussel. The choice of the pieces sought different styles, because the differences found in each style influenced the tools used throughout the study and provides richness of technical tools. Therefore, the emphasis is on the description of different stages experienced by the performer throughout the study of the pieces listed for this investigation. This article is divided into three parts: the first section deals with the description of the study of the Varèse piece, the second part with the study of Roussel's work and, finally, the evaluation of this process by the artist and the conclusions of the research.
