Resumo

O presente trabalho é fruto de uma pesquisa de monografia com mesmo nome, que tem por objetivo investigar as diversas possibilidades expressivas, técnicas e interpretativas envolvidas na construção do discurso musical, fazendo uso das posições alternativas do trombone no intuito de se obter uma melhor performance. A fim de demonstrar os vários aspectos envolvidos na utilização destas posições, analisamos a peça Morceau Symphonique (GUILMANT, 1937) para trombone e piano, buscando compreender e justificar as sugestões do editor E. Falaguerra para o uso dessas posições.

Alternative positions in the trombone: an interpretative theoretical study

The present work is the result of a monographic research with the same name, aiming to investigate the various expressive, technical and interpretative possibilities involved in the process of building the musical discourse, making use of the alternative positions of the trombone to achieve a better performance. In order to demonstrate the various aspects involved in using these positions, we analyzed the piece Morceau Symphonique (GUILMANT, 1937) for trombone and piano, trying to understand and justify the suggestions of the editor E. Falaguerra for the use of such positions.
