Resumo

Trata-se de estudo da relação existente entre os processos de criação e estruturação musical apresentados por John Paynter em seu livro Sound and Structure (1992) e os princípios do rizoma, cunhados pelos pensadores Gilles Deleuze e Felix Guattari no livro Mil platôs, escrito em 1980. Busca-se abordar o pensamento ainda em análise acerca de uma educação musical rizomática. Embora em construção, o estudo permite realçar traços de conexão entre os pensamentos de Paynter, Deleuze e Guattari, conjecturando uma educação musical aplicável à realidade brasileira.

By a Rhizomatic Music Education: Study of the Book Sound and Structure by John Paynter

It is the study of the relationship between the processes of creation and structuring musical presented by John Paynter in his book Sound and Structure (1992) and the principles of the rhizome, coined by thinkers Deleuze and Felix Guattari in the book Mil platôs written in 1980. Seeks to address the thought still in analysis about a rhizomatic music education. While in construction, the study allows to highlight traces of connection between the thoughts of Paynter, Deleuze and Guattari, conjecturing a musical education applicable to Brazilian reality.
