Resumo

Com bases na hipótese de que a relação entre intérprete e obra a ser estreada parte das  qualidades intrínsecas da partitura, entrevistas foram realizadas com pianistas de renome international, que discorreram sobre seu processo de preparação da estreia de obras importantes do repertório contemporaneo, revelando os aspectos constitutivos da construção de suas interpretações respectivas, cuja categorização será apresentada neste trabalho. Como recuo histórico, o cenário musical do início do século foi acessado através da imprensa musical da época e os dados obtidos através da análise de conteúdo deste material foram cruzados com alguns daqueles obtidos através das entrevistas, revelando uma série de coincidências cuja síntese será igualmente apresentada.

Pianists of our time and their relationshiop with works they premier

Based on the hyphothesis that the relationship between performers and works they premier starts with the score’s intrinsic qualities, interviews where conducted with reknown pianists, who described their preparation process regarding the premiere of important contemporary works, revealing specific aspects of constructing an interpretation categorized as it will be presented in this paper. As historical background, the musical scenario of the beginning of the 20th century was accessed through music press of that period; the results of content analysis of this material were crossed with that obtained from the interviews, revealing coincidences which synthesis will be presented as well.
