Resumo

O presente artigo apresenta operfil dos regentes que compunhao projeto de bandas da Secretaria de Educação e Cultura (SEDEC) da cidade de João Pessoa – PB, apresentando informações que possibilitaramcaracterizá-los através de dados obtidos em uma pesquisa survey. Podemos observar que a maioria dos regentes tinham uma formação voltada para a performance musical, bem como as outras atividades musicais exercidas pelos mesmos, podendo influenciar diretamente no ensino das bandas do projeto.

The profile of the conductors of the Bands Project of the municipal network of education of João Pessoa–PB

This article presents the profile of the conductorsthat compusedthe bands project of the Department of Education and Culture (SEDEC) of the city of João Pessoa − PB, presenting information that madeit possible to characterize them through data obtained in a survey. We can observe that the majority of the conductorshada backgroundoriented to the musical performance, as well as the other musical activities exerted by the same ones, being able to directly influence in the teaching of the bands of the project.
