Resumo

Este ensaio busca refletir sobre em que medida a figura do intérprete, particularmente a do ator-cantor, mostra-se, cada vez mais, indispensável à realização de espetáculos cênico-musicais por companhias de teatro amador. O papel desse artista, nas interfaces entre música e teatro, será posto aqui, em que, a partir de nossa experiência como compositor, arranjador e diretor musical em espetáculos de teatro onde a música é fundamental para o desenvolvimento da dramaturgia, comentários acerca da ação do artista generalista e do artista especialista serão realizados. A complexidade de uma performance multifacetada para o intérprete que, simultaneamente, atua e canta — e, eventualmente, dança e toca instrumentos musicais —, bem como os campos de interação entre criação musical e performance teatral como consequência da colaboração do intérprete durante o processo de criação e realização da obra serão, também, observadas.

Multi-performance in scenic-musical shows: reflections on the role of the performer in the interfaces between music and theater and his importance for the development and realization of the musical work in amateur theater

This essay seeks to reflect on the extent to which the figure of the performer, particularly the actor-singer, is increasingly indispensable to the realization of scenic-musical shows by amateur theater companies. The role of this artist, in the interfacesbetween music and theater, will be presented here, where, from our experience as composer, arranger and musical director in theater performances where music is fundamental for the development of the dramaturgy, comments about the action of the generalist artist and the specialist artist will be made. The complexity of a multifaceted performance for the performer who simultaneously acts and sings — and eventually dances and plays musical instruments — as well as the fields of interaction between musical creation and theatrical performance as a consequence of the collaboration of the performer during the process of creation and realization of the work will also be observed.
