Resumo

Valendo-se da semiótica do discurso proposta por Greimas, este trabalho apresenta, em sua primeira parte, uma breve explanação sobre o nível narrativo do Percurso Gerativo dos Sentidos, com especial interesse em destacar os regimes de manipulação, bem como as modalizações que recaem sobre o actante Sujeito. A finalidade de tal exposição é verificar, na segunda parte do artigo, a possibilidade de se utilizar a semiótica narrativa como ferramenta para a compreensão das etapas de aprendizagem músicos violonistas, verificando suas motivações e as ações dos agentes que o cercam, permitindo-nos a compreensão de um nível mais abstrato que subjaz aos depoimentos. Foram colhidas entrevistas de professores universitários que, para a finalidade desta submissão, permanecerão anônimos.

Discursive Manipulations in the Initial Formation of the Music Student: The Subject’s Modalizations based upon Greimas’ Concepts of Virtualization (Wish/Must) and Actualization (to Know/Can)

Using the semiotics of discourse proposed by Greimas, this paper presents, in the first part, a brief explanation about the narrative level of the Gerative Course of the Senses, with special interest on the manipulation regimes as well the modalizations that apply to actants subjects. The purpose of such an exposition is to verify, in the second part of this paper, the possibility of using narrative semiotics as a tool for understanding the stages of guitar players learning, focusing their motivations and the actions of the agents that surround it, allowing us to understanding a more abstract level that underlies the testimonials. The interviews were carried out by university teachers who, for the purpose of this submission, will remain anonymous.
