Resumo

En este estudio cuantitativo de carácter descriptivo se investigan las creencias de 31 estudiantes de la especialidad de Música del Máster de Profesor de Educación Secundaria de la Universitat de València, sus expectativas al cursar este tipo de formación, su valoración de la distribución de los créditos de las asignaturas que lo conforman y diferencias en base al género. Los resultados presentan sus consideraciones para realizar este Máster, su opinión sobre la función docente, la metodología y contenidos que desarrollarán en futuras clases, las expectativas y la valoración de los créditos de las asignaturas del Máster, entre otros.

Music Students of the Master’s Degree in Secondary Education: beliefs, expectations, and assessment of the distribution of credits

In this descriptive quantitative study, we investigate the different beliefs of 31 students enrolled in music specialization of the Master’s Degree in Secondary Education Teaching of the Universitat de València to identify their expectations of this type of training, their assessment of the distribution of credits of the subject matter that comprise the curriculum, and gender differences. The results present the student’s considerations when undergoing this degree, their opinion on the function of teaching, the methodology and content to be developed in future classes, their expectations and value beliefs of the subject matter of the master’s degree, among others.
