Resumo

O presente artigo, sobre “Diretrizes Gerais para o estudo da Filosofia da Música” pretende sistematizar, por meio de estruturas analíticas, uma visão esquemática de áreas de estudo e temas, relacionados e pertinentes à Filosofia da Música e suas correlações com outras áreas do conhecimento filosófico como História da Filosofia, Ética, Estética, Filosofia da Arte, Metafísica, Lógica, Filosofia da Linguagem, Teoria do conhecimento e Antropologia Filosófica, cruzando com outras áreas do conhecimento afins, conforme diretrizes da Teoria Sistêmica. Este artigo foi elaborado a partir do estudo e apreciação bibliográfica. Analisa o que filósofos pensaram e pensam sobre a música ao longo do tempo. É um referencial teórico sobre a Filosofia e relevante para a Filosofia da Música. São oferecidas sugestões, que fomentam o estudo de temas e investigações, tais como a aplicação e significado da música no cotidiano das pessoas, assim como a sua função e importância nas sociedades humanas, em tempos distintos.

General notes for the study of the Pilosophy of Music

This article is directed to students who are starting their studies on music and philosophy. The text aims to show, in a schematic view, some possible areas of study and themes of Philosophy related and pertaining to music and their correlations with other areas of knowledge, as well as a list some contributions of philosophers who studied about music over time. After an introduction in the Philosophy of Music and the Theoretical-Methodological, what follow are notes on the main areas of Philosophy that can be applied to the study of music as History of Philosophy, Ethics, Aesthetics, Philosophy of Art, Metaphysics, Logic, Philosophy of Language, Theory of Knowledge and Philosophical Anthropology. Those are areas that can contribute to the construction of a view that includes, above all, the guidelines of the Systemic Theory. This article resulted from study and literature appreciation; however, it does not propose a deepening of the pointed theories, the aim is to offer suggestions and questions to make possible investigations into the Philosophy of Music.
