Resumo

Esse artigo descreve o estágio atual de desenvolvimento de um projeto que visa à produção de um recurso computacional voltado à prática da leitura rítmica musical. São objetos do presente relato as etapas de pesquisa e, principalmente, da efetiva concepção e confecção de um protótipo viável, tanto do ponto de vista técnico quanto educacional, bem como uma reflexão acerca dos diversos desdobramentos possíveis a partir da concreta realização de suas proposições. Primordialmente, voltando-se para a investigação das questões que envolvem a subdivisão do pulso em quatro partes (especificamente semicolcheias em uma semínima) e sua correspondente grafia dentro da notação musical tradicional, procurar-se-á aqui investigar o potencial alcance da iniciativa de se ampliar as possibilidades de interação entre a percepção e a execução de padrões rítmicos recorrentes por meio da realidade digital, aliada ao estudo do instrumento – no caso, a percussão. Nas buscas preliminares não foi identificado nenhum produto semelhante que viesse a reunir as características e possibilidades apresentadas, em que pese a opção por trabalharmos, pelo menos inicialmente, com a delimitação do compasso 2/4 e de um número restrito de dezesseis combinações com as figuras selecionadas. A análise do planejamento que vem orientando a confecção dos elementos gráficos e das sequências de comando necessárias ao funcionamento de um protótipo-base em formato de aplicativo, além da busca de auxílio especializado da área de programação determinarão o nível de sofisticação que será possível atingir. As bases teóricas e a reflexão acerca da prática que motivou a realização dessa iniciativa estão registradas na monografia O sistema do “tique-taque” como introdução à leitura rítmica musical: novas possibilidades para a prática das subdivisões (SANTOS, 2013).

Developing an Application for the Practice of Rhytmic Reading

This article brings forward the intention of describing the current development stage of a project that aims to produce a computing resource focused on the practice of musical rhythmic reading. The research steps and, especially, the effective design and accomplishment of a feasible prototype from the viewpoint both technical and educational, as well as a reflection regarding the possible variety of outcomes from the concrete realization of its proposals, are the object of this report. Primarily, concentrating on the investigation of issues that comprehend the subdivision of the pulse into four parts (specifically sixteenths into a quarter note) and their corresponding spelling within the traditional musical notation, the intention is to investigate the potential scope of the initiative to expand the possibilities of interaction between perception and execution of recurring rhythmic patterns through digital reality, associated with the study of the instrument - in this case, the percussion. Through the preliminary search, no similar product that would bring together the presented features and possibilities was identified, regarding the choice of working, at least initially, with the delimitation of the 2/4 bar and a restricted number of sixteen combinations with the selected figures. The planning analysis that has been guiding the graphic elements and its command sequences development, required for a based-prototype operation in an application form, besides the search for specialized help from the programming work field will make it possible to determine the achievable level of sophistication.
