Resumo

Neste artigo, a motivação do aprendiz de música é discutida e analisada nos termos da revisão da literatura, em que se estrutura a dissertação de mestrado em curso intitulada “Motivação para aprender música: um estudo com alunos do ensino médio”. Com propósito de compreender as contribuições da motivação para aprendizagem musical, o referencial teórico empregado alicerça-se na teoria da Autodeterminação de Deci e Ryan (1985) e nos estudos motivacionais em voga para apresentar igualmente as contribuições da motivação obtidas na área de música.

Contributions of self-determined motivation for musical learning in high school: a literature review

In this article the motivation of the learner of music is discussed and analyzed in terms of the review of the literature of which, we structured the dissertation under the title of the "Motivation to learn music: a study with high school students". In order to understand the contributions of motivation to musical learning, the theoretical reference employed is based on Deci and Ryan's theory of self-determination (1985) and on the motivational studies in vogue to present, and also the contributions of motivation obtained in the area of music.
