Atualmente nos deparamos com problemas relacionados a várias possibilidades de tradução dos termos recall e serial recall para o português. Em algumas situações, as traduções não transmitem o real significado da palavra no contexto original, criando distorções na compreensão dos conceitos e sua aplicação na performance musical. Neste artigo serão discutidas as possíveis traduções das palavras recall e serial recall para o português brasileiro e a aplicação destes conceitos na performance musical.

Conceptualization and adequacy of the English language terms recall and serial recall to Brazilian Portuguese in the context of cognitive performance

Nowadays, we deal with issues regarding the many possibilities in translating the terms recall and serial recall to the portuguese language. In some situations, the translations do not communicate the actual meaning of the words in their original context, leading to distortions in the understanding of the concepts and in their application in musical performance. In this article, we will discuss the possible translations of the terms recall and serial recall to brazilian portuguese and the application of these concepts in musical performance.
