Resumo

Este artigo tem como objetivo estudar a escrita da obra Mutationen II für Violoncelo und Tonband, do compositor Claudio Santoro, compreendendo e traduzindo as instruções apresentadas na parte do violoncelo e da fita magnética. No processo de montagem dos sons eletrônicos, tornou-se necessário utilizar ferramentas tecnológicas atuais para auxiliar na gravação do arquivo de mídia, uma vez que o acesso aos gravadores propostos por Claudio Santoro na época em que a peça foi escrita é de difícil acesso nos dias de hoje. Como produtos da pesquisa, temos o registro em vídeo da obra bem como a edição da partitura em português, pois anteriormente só existia o manuscrito em língua alemã. O trabalho auxilia o processo de aprendizado da peça por possíveis novos intérpretes, bem como a realização de performances públicas, difundindo assim a obra, que é uma das primeiras do repertório eletroacústico internacional escrito para violoncelo.

This paper aims to study the work Mutationen II für Cello und Tonband, written by Claudio Santoro, translating and understanding the instructions in the cello part and in the tape. Regarding the recording of the media, the work deals with the up to date technological tools such as studio recording and the use of audio programs, due to the fact that tape recorders suggested by Claudio Santoro in the 1960´s are no longer available. As main results from the research we can point out the recording of the piece and the score editing in Portuguese, since the only edition previously available was a manuscript with most of the instructions in German. This research supports cellists interested in the study and performance of the piece, helping this way the spreading knowledge about the work, which is one of the first pieces for cello and electroacoustic in the international repertoire.
