Resumo

Ao tratar-se da voz cantada, é preciso reconhecer a importância e entender o significado da relação interdisciplinar entre fonoaudiólogos e professores de canto. Objetivo: analisar a atuação conjunta entre esses profissionais. Método: revisão de literatura, realizada por meio de busca por artigos científicos nas bases de dados Web of Science e Science Direct, com os descritores Speech Language Pathologist (fonoaudiólogo) e Teacher Singing (professor de canto), entre 2006 e 2016 (outubro). Resultados: dos 118 artigos selecionados, apenas 15 mencionam a relação entre o trabalho do professor de canto e do fonoaudiólogo. Considerando quatro categorias de análise, parte dos artigos relata a participação para realizar julgamento de vozes (cinco); outros indicam o papel dos profissionais para o uso da voz cantada (cinco); outros trazem informações sobre voz cantada que podem interessar aos dois profissionais (três); e três relatam experiência realizada em conjunto pelos profissionais, no atendimento a cantores com disodia. Conclusão: as poucas fontes bibliográficas relacionadas ao trabalho interdisciplinar entre fonoaudiólogos e professores de canto apontam a importância desses especialistas no monitoramento da voz dos cantores e de intervenções no campo da pesquisa científica em voz.

The Joint Performance between Singing Teachers and Speech Language Therapists: A Literature Review

There is a need to recognize the importance and to understand the meaning of the interdisciplinary relationship between speech-language pathologists and singing teachers when dealing with the singing voice. Objective: To investigate the joint work of these professionals. Methods: A literature review conducted through the search for scientific articles in the Web of Science and Science Direct databases, using Speech-Language Pathologist and Singing Teacher as descriptors, from 2006 to 2016 (October). Results: Only 15 articles out of the 118 articles selected mention the relationship between the work of singing teachers and speech-language pathologists. Within the four categories of analysis, some articles report the participation in order to conduct voices trial (five); others indicate the role of professionals in the use of the singing voice (five); others provide information on the singing voice that may be relevant for both professionals (three); and, finally, three articles report the experience jointly conducted by both professionals in the care of singers with dysodia. Conclusion: The few bibliographic sources related to the interdisciplinary work between speech-language pathologists and singing teachers indicate the value of these specialists when monitoring the voice of singers and interventions in the voice-related scientific research.
